Ground Up

Ground-up structural steel fabrication refers to the process of designing and building a structure using steel beams and columns from scratch. This typically involves a team of engineers and fabricators who work together to create a design that meets the specific requirements of the project, such as load-bearing capacity and architectural style.

The steel components are then cut, bent and welded to form the structure. After that the steel structure is painted and transported to the building site and installed by a certified erector. This process is used in a variety of construction projects, including skyscrapers, bridges, and industrial buildings. It is known for its strength, durability and cost-effectiveness.
